I remember reading somewhere that the stock F2 motorcan't hit therev-limiter in 6th gear but the stockF3 motor can easily get there.

one is called and F2 and one is called an F3. They were made in different years?

Syphen, what do you miss about it?

It was a great bike. I had a 1991, and it just ran. All the time. It NEVER once had any issues. I had 50k on it when it was sold. Bought it with 32k on the clock. It was a very easy bike to maintain and do work on it. (Try changing the cam chain tensioner on an F2, then try the same thing on an F4.. you'll get the idea.) Parts are abundant, cheap.. The bike could keep up with guys on brand new SS's, and hit 240km/h which was great for me. The seat and riding position was very comfortable and passengers never complained about the rear seat. I actually preferred the F2 to the F4 in hindsight. But... the F2 was sold to purchase an engagement ring. Maybe I'll buy another one in my mid-life crisis.

I find the more and more I ride bikes and the more I've owned, I have a REALLY big soft spot for the looks of late 80's and early 90's sport bikes. Its the reason I bought my CBR250RR. Reminded me of my F2 and was quite the little screamer.
