Default RE: valve adjustment

I am at 23,xxx miles and have yet to do a valve adjustment.

The bike sounds fine but I don't know if you can tell if the valves are out just by the sound... engine runs very well.

I asked the Honda mechanic and he said....strangely enough...that you don't have to check the valves that often, even at 20,000...he says he's seen bikes go 50-60,000 miles with zero valve checks.

but it's your bike-- do it if you think it needs it.

It's all up to you, if you're gonna open the engine and you know what you are doing might as well check the valves too

I don't know how, and I have no tools or a garage so I'm out of luck
