as far as the plastics go, you are looking at about 600 for ebay plastics, and as for the two piece tail and front end conversion, you will need to fab your subframe and front fairing stay. you will also have to fab all the brackets for the new style fairings. it can be done, but it is more an art form than a science. in my opinion with the amount of money you will have to drop into a conversion like that, it really isnt worth it, especially since you are trading a good looking set of f2 plastics for a stock set of cbr 1000rr ones. on the other hand, if you are looking to do this like right now, and you have your heart set, i would be willing to but all your current fairings from you...

I am currently using a tail from a 08 600RR, I fit it to the f2 by slicing the bottom of the sub-frame about 8 to 10 inches from the rear, bent the rear end up about 25 to 27 degrees, welded in the gap, and made all new brackets including a trianguar brace for extra strength. The seat latches are factory 600RR latches. It can be dones just takes some work.

believe me if you cant look at the parts you want to put on and place them on the bike in your head your in for a huge huge huge struggle. I am re-doing my bike using stock style fiberglass panels from my f2 and remolding in updated headlights, undertail, and everything else so all I am spending money on is my materials and when im done i will still have close to 3-400 into it. Making your bike custom is not and will never be cheap. It doesnt matter what kind of talent or resources you have....Im a body/paint tech by trade and even being in the industry and having access to everything at a discounted rate its still expensive. So if you dont want to drop at least 500-1000 you wont get your f2 to look like a 1000rr.
As for me i like the looks of your bike, so i would save the money, ride for a few years and then upgrade to a true 1000rr
