Default upgrading CBR

well I've had my 07 since it came out and i'm finally pulling the trigger for the new 1000. Few people who are interested in my bike would prefer it being stock rather then the little mods that are on it. They are actually willing on paying the same with or without the mods. any of you guys have similar experiences? plus i'm not even sure if there's still a huge market for 600 parts

Could be several reasons they'd want it stock.
  • Modified bike means more difficulty troubleshooting than stock
  • They want to do their own mods with a known baseline
  • Heavily modded bikes may be too much for them to handle
  • Their insurance may not cover a modded bike
  • They don't know what a juice box is

As for parts, there's always some new rider that laid his bike down and needs something replaced. Just may take you a bit to completely part it out.

good point. Dealer offered like 100 more if i traded them the bike, but I know how the whole "stealership" figures their prices.
