Default Tuning tips

I have a 93 CBR 600 track bike which is in need of a little more grunt.

I can more than hold my own into and through the bends but lose out to the fuel injected lads on the straights.

Obvious thing would to get myself a fuel injected bike but funds are somewhat limited.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

No amount of (reasonable) modifications will make the old F2 as fast as modern sportbikes, your best bet is to save up for a new bike or find some slower guys to race with

Yeah, what hersh said, I have tried to race my buddy with a 05rr, he has a slip on and a powercommander and about 2 years of experience on me, we have tried to race and I can only keep up till about 100 mph. Then he pulls on me like im in a pinto.

Every single time one of these threads pop up, I haul out the obligatory comment. This thread will be no exception.

as far as ur bike goes it can only lose so much weight.......what are ya jettin? if ur super serious u could go the way of hrc and drill air jets and keep custom sprockets for each track, run some super race fuel or if ur super duper serious u could weld up some mini rocket boosters for the straights
