hi all i have a cbr 1993, track bike, and im after getting more power what would the best mods be? could i use a head off a newer bike would that give any gains, any info would be good, many thanks

 

I doubt you could use a different head. I would think the water jacket channels wouldn't line up and who knows about piston interference with valves. There's a website, and they actually sponsor this forum, www.cbrzone.com and they will have ignition advancers and performance cams, valves, pistons, rods, cranks, you name it they got it. Any kind of performance engine mods that you'd be looking at you'll probably find there.
