im having the same issue my went down and had a bent clip on so i replaced it and it made a huge differance but you can get new cables for like 10 bucks im goin that route and if i still have a problem after that then ill replace the switch

ok what is the right lube to use cuz i tried some stuff and mine are sticking really bad i replaced the cables with brand new ones when i take it off the bar its fine but when back on it goes back when it wants too

you have the cables adj.?? or twisted/ kinked??

Are you sure you don't have a bent clip on? Cause it sure sounds like my 900rr. If i took it off the clip on, it would snap fine, when I put it on the clip on, it binded. I couldn't notice by looking at it that it was bent, but it was. I replaced the clip on and it worked just fine. You can usually pick up clip ons pretty cheap

my bike had a bent bar end and that made the edge of the grip rub against that and stick, check that out

Good point too, Both of the bar ends on the 92 f2 were bent, but you couldn't notice that until you unscrewed the screw

Just replaced my cables but still had some issues but i figured it out theres a hole located on the bar that the throttle tube/switch assymbly fits into my problem was the pin was too long along with the plastic located next to its so i grinded down the pin and plastic untill the throttle was really smooth it could be something you might be having with
