story of my life
So i bought a cbr f3. the guy said it would need a good carb job. it ran pretty well. brought it to the car dealership i work at and pulled it in my bay to find that a spark plug is broken in the head, maybe wont need a carb job. so i extracted that, put a new plug in. ran very well. put about a thousand miles on it before the carbs started to get real bad. bought a set of f3 carbs from a guy who works at hondapowersports. only to find out that i have an f2 setup in my f3 frame.
so i gave him my f2 carbs to clean out for me. bought a new float needle and he put it in the ultrasonic tank at work to clean them out. spent a good amount of time on them. got them back looking like brand new....
only to put them back on my bike and have a big leak comming from where the fuel goes into the carbs. that little plastic nipple thing that the fuel hose connects to. Is there an o-ring in there that has to get replaced or what. i am very new to carbs as i am a car tech from the fuel injection era.
But the way things have been going it might be best to just do this myself before i drain my wallet.
Let me know of any imput
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin, there are indeed O-Rings there, four in total.
There are two T-joints that connect to the feeder fuel line, one joint between carbs 1 & 2, and another between 3 & 4 - there is an O-Ring on each carb end of those two T-joints.
It could be that one or more of those O-Rings just finally "had it", or it could be that one or more deteriorated in the cleaning soak - carb cleaner dries out rubber, so if the carb cleaner solution wasn't designated as safe for rubber parts, then that might have been the cause of the problem... by the way, there's more rubber in those carbs, so if the cleaner did cause this problem, then you might have other issues too.
Anyway, the O-Ring's part number is 16039-MZ1-790, and I do believe that should be for a set of all four O-Rings - about $8 from your dealer.
Good luck!
