ok i got a 94 f2 with about 30000 on it and the bike kept draining the battery and i would ride for a couple days then have to charge the battery back up,i am thinking it is the stator that needs to be replaced.is there anything special i need to need to be looking for when i do this?i also have the haynes manual for this that i will be following.

 

well what makes you think its the stator in the first place? it could be rotor, a bad battery, or even the regulator/rectifier (which i would check first cause those r the same symptoms, and a lot cheaper also!)
