Default seized Cente stand

Got a CBR6FP 93 model and my centre stand has sized , went to Garage about 6 months ago and was told to try and unsize it with wd40, it has now completley sized
Rang up garage and they are not sure if it just needs to be taken apart and cleaned , or it might need a new stand and bolt.

Any advice what to do, and what do i need , as currentley i cant adjust my Chain as cant use centre stand

Any help would be most appreciated thanks

You could try heating it with a heat gun on the pivot points and the tube and maybe gets the grease soft enough to move it..................

Remove it to save weight and buy a swing arm stand for cheap. They have them from harbor freight for $35~

Neither does mine. Though I do have a 94. But I wouldn't imagine that it matters. Is it aftermarket?

i thought 91's were the only ones to have it. my 94 doesnt have 1 either. umm yea i would ditch it and only use it to work on the bike. kick stand is good enough and i never liked how much it hugs the wheel. you should be able to adjust you chain even with the tire down.

Could be a UK / European model. A lot of the 'Fireblades' came with center stands. And its my bet the OP is English. His spelling of 'centre'.

ya... I think the center stands were stock on the euro models.
it is harder to adjust the chain without a stand but it can be done.
