i found a f2 for only 600. but the stator is shot. so obviously i cant hear it run or anything...
should i buy? i mean stators are only like 140-150. and if thats the only thing wrong with it... CHA-CHING! hahah

oh and it has 30k miles on it.
and it comes with a stand and a cover.

I would do it if it looks to be in good condition otherwise, but it is still a gamble... unless you know the buyer, or someone can vouch for him then you have no idea if that is all that is wrong. If worse comes to worse, you can probably part it all out and get your money back. Best case is you got a bad *** bike for only 600.

well i cant tell what it looks like, in the pics on CL the bike is totally naked. lol i asked him about it and he said the pictures were taken when he was messing around with the stator so all the plastics were off.
but yea he said he tried to jump it and it doesnt turn over, so its the stator or a dead battery. either case is an easy fix.
he also says the headlight is always on high beam, so the switch needs to be replaced, which he bought but never got around to putting in.
so yea im getting this bike! sounds like a fantastic deal. and if nothing else ill part it out.

ok sorry but as im new to bikes...
will any motorcycle battery fit in any bike? or is there a specific one i should be looking for. obviously ill try charging the one currently in the bike(when i get it) but just in case its worthless...

it depends on the bike really so im pretty sure most bikes take a specific battery check with ur local dealer
