well hers the main issue....its at the shop now cuz he cleaned the carbs...I took it in cuz I can't do ay work on vehices at me apts....so im kinda s.o.l on that...

Actually that might be a good thing. Call and ask asap tomorrow morning if that had started it yet, hopefully you can ask them if it is jetted while they have it apart. Or if they put it together already, ask if they noticed if it was jetted.

they did the clean and sync already...I got it back and it ran great...just pussd out on me thismorning....

the prev owner just txtd me back and sai no jetwork was ever done......so I guess that's out the window.....anything else???

ahh, I see. Is there anything against you doing it IN your apartments??? Have a buddy help you take it inside! haha....

You could still call the dealer and ask them if they noticed if it was jetted. Maybe there is a chance they have to make note on that kind of thing.

The only other way it would sputter out and die is if you were not getting enough fuel to the carbs.

Vacuum line could be disconnected from the petcock, or the diaphragm in the petcock could be out of place or have a hole in it.

Floats could get stuck closed, but if they were freshly cleaned that's unlikely.

If you are willing to spend the money, tell the shop to fix it properly... Or tell them that they did not fix the problem the first time and you want the work done free since you've already paid them to fix it once.

cant take it in my apt. being as im on the third floor.....so again ....SOL...and im gunna go down to the shop today and talk to dude and see if hes come up with anything...
