powerwashing engine

powerwashing engine
I have my bike completely apart, and would like to clean the engine. I can take it to work and spray degreaser(overspray remover) on it and then powerwash it, but I'm worried about some of the seals.
- output shaft seal, where the front sprocket is
- shifter seal, both of these are right by eachother and that is the dirtiest area of the engine.
- the sensors coming out of the two side casings.
Will the degreaser affect my seals? will a powerwasher be too much pressure for the seals?

I know what that is like. Freak rain storm in the middle of cleaning my carbs filled the head with water. What a major pain in the *** that was.

My bad I forgot to tell you that I had the carbs off as well as all wiring except for the wires coming out of the two side cases.
I did powerwash my motor the other day and I think it turned out great. I sprayed degreaser but was careful not to spray it directly on seals/etc.
I stuffed rags in the spark plug holes and the intake. I didn't spray water directly on the seals either.
The front sprocket area came pretty clean. There was some stuff up in there i couldn't get out though.
I will post a before and after pic tonight.
