f2 should definitely be able to pull it up in 1st no problem. If it wont then you're at the wrong rpms. Get up to the correct rpms snap the throttle while pulling back and it should come up.

I'm sure someone said this too but make sure ur not stuck to the tank. sit back a ways it will be easier and more comfortable

9K roll to 11Krpm drop down to 9K lean back and your up

The earlier in the power you start the better.once you start riding em out your gonna need those extra rpm nothing sucks worse than running outta steam.

My f2 will not power wheelie up. It simply doesnt have the power. It has 40k+ miles and who knows how little compression. My dirtbike will power up wheelie in 5th gear, so I'm not completely retarded at wheeling.

I think the OP has the same issue, his bike probably doesnt have the compression, or the tune is pretty bad. I would like to also add my bike won't do above 120 with stock gearing too, just runs out of steam

having never wheelied before yesterday, i went out with a buddy who has an 07 r6 and quite a bit more experience, with his help was powering it up in no time, so it is possible. helps to get your suspension to work with you as well. time the rebound of the forks to when you crack the throttle to help get the upward momentum going. if you have to slide back your cheeks and give a yank on the bars.

tune the bike. even if your just commuting, keeping up on the maintenance is a priority. dont expect a bike that is badly out of tune to go out a open a can of whoopass.

dont know that it matters but im 6'-1" and 215lbs. bike is a 94 f2 with about 30k on it.

Your bike has a ton of problems then. I was hitting 125mph and still pulling hard. She will pop the front end up on mine if I try but I don't care too.

Do a compression check or she could be out of snyc with the carbs and causing massive problems

My F2 is also nearing 40k and I feel I can safely try this out to see. If you want a quick boost in power, get higher octane fuel. I went from 95 to 99 fuel and theres a big difference. Dont waste time with the products you get off the shelf saying they boost performance, they dont!

The highest I can get at the pump in az is 91 octane, which is around 98-99 research octane rating which I think you may be referring to
