Default Please confirm this noise

Hey guys, wanting to see if this is the CCT like i've been trying to research or not.

Seemed like most people claimed they only heared the CCT clicking when the bike was warm, well I hear mine all the time, which is why I was thinking it was exhaust. It's most noticeable at very low RPMS but now hearing the sound recorded sounds more and more like clicking as opposed to what I hear just by ear.

Any input would be great, thanks!

Chris

Hey Chris, from the sound clip it sounds more like valves ticking as opposed to a Cam Chain Tensioner knocking. CCT's make a knocking sound, whereas yours sounds like ticking. Might wanna look into a valve adjustment. I'm not an expert, but that would be my best guess. Logically speaking from the sound clip.

Well, from what I hear, it does sound kinda like an exhaust leak. Now, does it get louder when you rev it up then die down as the rpms drop? If so, then yea, it's an exhaust leak. A bad CCT will sound like you just found a diesel motor.
Good Luck!

thanks for that dawoonj.

Based on that I'm agreeing with FNquick and my first thought it's an exhaust leak as it changes in pitch/speed with acceleration.
Now comes the fun of trying to find it... Thanks guys.
