Petcock position question; where is ON?

Petcock position question; where is ON?
hey yall
quick question here. i never had the fairings on my bike, and so when i installed the petcock, i have no idea what position means what. i know there are three positions and assume one is off one is on and one is reserve. can you tell me what order they are in?

can you convert that to clock-wise rather than up/down? my **** is all switched around and backwards

All the way CCW is on, first 1/4 turn CW to horizontal is off, next CW 1/4 turn is reserve.
Heck, you pulled everything else on the bike apart. You won't be happy until you pull the petcock, change the gasket and look it over for yourself. So, quit the court-ship and just DO it! lol
