Did you get this figured out yet or do you want the answer?

If you've got oil in your coolant, but no coolant in your oil, then it's extremely unlikely it's a head gasket. Coolant is under pressure and the large oil passages (that drain back into the case) aren't under pressure. So you could get coolant in the oil, but not oil in the coolant. Same with the most other places in the engine. The one place where the oil is next to the coolant and also under higher pressure, is in the oil cooler. Its up front next to the filter. The oil cooler is sealed from the coolant with 2 o-rings. They get old & hard & begin to leak, then you get some oil in your coolant, but your oil will still be clean. You'll need 2 o-rings, but at least you don't have to pull the motor to fix it.
