Is it normal to have bit of blue smoke after oil change on my F2.
I used castrol GPS Power 1 oil.

 

did u overfill? or spill alittle?

 

Do you mean from the exhaust can or from the engine surface somewhere?

From the can,had a little on the downpipe but thats cleared.
Maybe give it a blast on the motorway see if that clears.

 

Yup no more smoke but seem to get a different noise from the engine, like a little louder.
Could it be the oil I used, with the K&N oil filter.

 

what do you mean by louder? Is there a chattering clickity clank noise coming from it now? If so its most likely the CCT...mine sounds horrid sometimes

Noise is like ....kinda like running without oil ..annoying and bike seems a bit sluggish...

 

the cct is your cam chain tensioner and will sound like a diesel engine if is loose, best thing to do spend 52 buks and get a manual tensioner from ape never problem
if you dont now how to do it look in the forum lots of post about the cct. if you dont wanna do it yourself 160 buks will do the work whit part included
