Default New clutch help

My clutch is slipping slowly by slowly. I don't torment my bike much so its not slipping bad at the moment but nonetheless it is. I'm planning on ordering a new clutch kit next week. I've been shopping around and found them right in the $120 range. Any suggestions on any brands? My LAST resort is going to be an ebay brand so please don;t suggest that. I wouldnt mind that for plastics, but my clutch is...well, its my clutch, I don't want cheap. I'd rather spend the extra whatever ya know. So, any suggestions? What's been working for you?

How bad is it slipping?

Mine was slipping at higher revs last year and I was about to order a new clutch but then the cable broke, I put a new cable on and now it's perfectly fine, no slip at all. So check the condition of the cable before you order a new clutch.

It's slipping especiaslly in 2nd and 3rd gear. When I accelerate hard, once I hit about 8k my revs just shoot up to redline without any power. When I went to switch out my front tire the mechanic test drove it around the lot to make sure it was balanced and noticed the clutch. He said it was slipping and I needed new plates and springs. He tightened the cable for me as well which helped a bit.

So ebay ones work good? I

Default barnett kevlar

ive always used them in all my bikes and my brothers bikes and that is what i just put in my f2 project they hold up good stick great and give you the power you want. they are more than 120. But in my opinion on these things you get what you pay for. the ones i have i paid around 180 so shop around for them before you just find and buy. ive seen them go for as high as 225

Get a new cable! Even if you do the clutch.
