Default New to bikes

Just bought an F2 with 15k on it. The previous owner regularly works on bikes and took very good care of it. I dont want to abuse the bike so my question is if I want to go easy on the motor then what is an ideal engine speed to normally up-shift at? What is the ideal engine speed for cruising?

It all depends on the rider. When I am taking it easy or cruising, I might not go over 4k rpms. I usually just go by sound and don't even look at the gauges

These machines are made to be ridden hard, unless you are constantly ringing it out at redline it will be fine.

Shift where it feels the smoothest (not lugging for power, not screaming and lurching into gear)
