Need clutch help bad!!!!
I have a 93 F2 and the other day I went out to start it and take off and I started it in neutral let it warm up then when I dropped it into fist it died. I assumed it was the clutch so I replaced the plates, disk, and springs. But still no go. If I try to start it in gear with the stand up it lunges forward. I am stuck and need some help.

With the clutch lever engaged, can you easily switchthrough thegears, while the bike is off? This sounds like maybe the clutch cable has stretched, not allowing clutch disengagement. Have youtweaked the bottom clutch cable adjustment? If it's maxed out, it might be time for a new cable.

With the clutch lever engaged you should not be able to go through more than a few gears, and even then there will come a point when you won't be able to select any gear without rolling it forward.
As someone else asked, will it start when you have the lever pulled in while the bike is in gear? Does it just die when you let the clutch out, or does it die even with the lever engaged in any gear besides neutral?

It only starts when its in neutral. When i shift into first it dies. If i try to start it in gear with the clutch pulled in it starts to take off like the clutch is out but ill be holding the clutch lever in. Im going to get a new cable and try that. cause i did try to adjust it all the way out and it still acted up. Im just worried its someting to do with the tranny but everyone i have talked to said it sounds like a clutch problem.

Not tranny issue. Clutch is the only thing that engages and slips. Now if you shifted and let the clutch out and still didn't move, then you'd be screwed. LOL
Good luck on the new cable. Also, what brand of oil is in there now, how long has it been in there, and do you need to top off? Using oil with modifiers not intended for wet clutches can have adverse affects.
