my bike is acting weird???

Default my bike is acting weird???

when cold start i pull the chocke down, it starts fine then after 1 min or 2 i close the chocke and the bike dies, or it idles under 1k??? any suggestions

try and adjust your idle using the idle screw.... maybe the idle is too low

I forget which side of the bike it's on, but if you're sitting on it, should be within reach to your right or left.

the manual says at 20k i need to do carb idle speed adjustment, and vavle clearnce adj.

my bike has over 23,000 miles and I don't think the valves have been checked even once...

I don't think the carbs have ever been checked either...but she runs fine. or at least seems to .

the Honda mechanic said he's seen bikes with up to 60,000 miles and only one valve clearance check....it's usually an inspection only.

but others will probably disagree with that

I had a very similar problem with my F2... turns out the fuel line was pinched underneath the tank... check the S shaped line under the tank to make sure its not pinched.
