Default manual cam chain tesioner

Do I need one? I run F2 for trackdays only. Im new to the F2 and trackdays. Thanks for any insight or direction for search.

cant hurt if you need one. If not the stocker will work just fine.

I heard something about chain going slack if rev'd high and quick rpm drop. Which is what happens on track. Just wondered.

For $60, you cant go wrong... Get one and forget about it.

i have a guy moding my stocker and making it manually adjustable at his cycle/machine shop for $20 will take some pics and let you all know how it works out when i get it back. if not going for the APE.

i have one, drill/tap, and add a nut/bolt. easy peasy. works the same. but i still have APE ones.

Radboy58, I'm sure you have read about the typical sound a bad cct makes. Mine had a significant tick/diesel sound to the right side of the engine and with the fears of the chain skipping a tooth i replaced it. I am no mechanic, and it can be done in 20 minutes, on an 91 at least.
