Default Leaking Fuel

When I start the bike, fuel is leaking out of this hole. I've noticed small amounts of fuel in the past, but today it really was leaking. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix?

i would take the tank off and then the petcock. then take the petcock apart and check the seals in there. its a pretty simple device when you open it up. if all else fails replace the petcock since there is something going on in there. taking the petcock apart and putting it back together to everything moving again solved my fuel issues. give it a shot

he is right on the money. I just had this problem, it would drip a little when the bike was off, but when I started it there would almost be a stream coming down. Your diaphram on the inside if the petcock is no longer sealing. They sell aftermarket petcock rebuild kits which is what you need, or you can go buy a decent looking petcock from a salvage yard and replace it. New ones are like 170 bucks, so I wouldnt go that route.
