Larger front brake disc's... questions for you all!
Hey everyone,
So I've heard a few people mention "big brake disc kits" for the front of the F2. The front brakes are kinda wimpy, and it would be nice to upgrade a bit. What's the story on doing this?
Also, I'm curious about potentially emplying a common concept from mountain bike disc brakes. Apparantly it's common to upgrade from 6" discs to 7" disc brakes, and the most common way to do this is simply slap on 7" disks, and get some spacers to move your calipers out so as they grip right.
Would it be possible to simply slap larger disc's onto our bikes, and simply add some spacers to position the calipers properly?

That's all a big brake kit is, larger rotors and caliper relocating brackets.
But you can't go buy any rotors, they have to fit on the F2 wheel. I would just buy the EBC kit and call it a day.
You will want the "EBC Pro-Lite 310mm rotors"

The F2 brakes aren't that bad... we can still stoppie/endo without problems... why blow that cash on rotors? Wouldn't it be a better use of your $$ to upgrade the uber-soft stock suspension?
