front brake disc

No. Without swapping the whole front end off of an F3, those 1996 rotors will not fit. The F3 has semi floating discs with a larger radius (296mm?) than the F2's 280mm hard mounted disc. The axial spacing is different and you would get interference on your calipers. I also believe the bolt pattern is different.
Moral of the story: If you want F3 brakes, take an F3 front end and put it on your bike. That's what I'm running and it's awesome.
