installed ebay sliders
$22 shipped, good deal.
1. The bolts they provide to replace your motor mount bolts aren't even close to working at all. You have to buy 2 bolts about half the size of the one provided, and you can't re-use the stock motor mount bolts because they are now too short due to the thickness of the slider
2. The actual sliders are made of delrin, which is a plus, but the slider on the right hand side of the bike requires modification to actually fit because it hits the side of the engine. So, you must grind down the side of the slider.
3. I had to re-locate the clutch cable because the slider on the same side of the bike is in the way, so I had to take off the radiator hose on that side and move the clutch cable over the hose.
sorry i didnt take pictures, it's really nothing special.
all in all, just another halffast job completed

the problem with the attitude of thinking you need to pay uber amts of money for **** to be good is just that.. you shouldnt have to.
however...
unfortunately... that is the way it is sometimes.

I bought those plastic ones off ebay also. Lowsided in some gravel and the pieces of ****
1) bent the damn grade 8.8 bolt
2) fractured the slider itself.
Now I run vortex delrin with aluminum bases and 10.9 bolts. Much better.

well i was doing wheelies down lombardi ave right here in green bay.. went 12 o clock and had to ditch. the bike was standing up.. slammed down onto my 20$ ebay carbon fiber slider then slid down the road a good 75 ft. (and i was sliding behind it haha) so when my sliding speed decreased i positioned myself to hop up on my feet and run the accident out and i did... and ran up to my bike and the only thing that happened was the slider got ground down a good 3 inches. picked my bike up... started it.. no cracked clutch case... no cracked engine case...
thanks 20$ ebay sliders
.... lol.
