Default full system exhaust vs. exhaust tip

i have an f2 with vanse & hines exhaust tip, does any one know how much is the difference in power with full system and just exhaust tips. if would like to go full system but is it worth the $$$$ compared to power difference if any. I found a full system with D & D for about $500 to $700. I will buy it if there is a big difference in performance compared to my V & H.

I tend to be a practical person so my 2 cents is to save your money. What are you going to do with the extra power? Do you race for money? If you want more power go buy a liter bike.

BUT, anyway, on to the technicalities. Depending on the system you get and IF it is tuned right (have fun actually getting it tuned right, it takes a LOT of work) a pipe alone will only get you another 1 HP or so while a full system may get you around 10hp?

my bike was retuned after installing the vanse and hines exhaust tip and my bike has great power thru out all gears. just wanted more power. is the 10HP worth $500 to $700 dollars? will i feel a real great difference with the full exhaust system??????

in addition a stage 1 jet kit was installed with the tuning of the bike after the tip was installed.

if you already have a aftermarket exhaust and a jet kit and a tune then you already got that extra 10hp.. if u want more, get a turbo kit.

They're called a "Slip-On" not an "exhaust tip".

You must come from the car world.

ok i went ahead and purchased a full system exhaust by kerker for $200 shipped and i know this brand is a good performer whey back then and its made for my bike. Cant wait to see if there is a big difference. Maybe i'll keep the V & H tip and use it with the headers depending which one works and sounds the best.

I've said it before, if you want more HP buy a bigger bike. Not sure what 200 dollar full exhaust will give you a big gain, but good luck. I know good full systems are way more expensive.

If you want faster, it is actually cheaper to sell your bike, and buy a liter bike than it is to mod a 600.
