I bought a new-to-me '93 F2 that needs an idle adjuster. (long story) Anybody have one sitting on an old set of carbs or anything? This is my first bike and I am itching to ride. This part is on back order and by the time my dealership gets one in, my bike will have been sitting up there for 3 1/2 weeks. I believe it is a long tube with a **** at the end that you used to adjust the idle from the left side fairing. It screws into the carb assembly?

 

Not even necessary if you have the carbs tuned correctly. Tuning the carbs makes the bike run at the correct mixture and RPMs at idle. The **** really only acts as a throttle stop in that the idle will stay high and take linger from let off before returning to idle.
