Ok so today I rode my bike up to the do it yourself wash and after that I went to the gas station. I went home after that and was wiping it down and now all of the sudden when I hit start it just buzzes and nothing more. Its a 94 with only 9k miles. Any ideas of what I should do????????

 

OK so I went outside an hour later and after hitting the starter and listening to it buzz for a while the lights would go on and off and now it starts and stays started. Im assuming there is still a problem though but what?? and should I even bother riding it?

 

maybe water was shorting something out?

 

look on your kill switch maybe in that place you have water and that is the cause of buzzing (short circuit).

 

Awesome, I really want to believe this. I hope thats what it is. Aroun what milage do R/R's tend to give out? anybody know??

 

flashing lights sounds like loose ground
