Default How picky are bikes are.

So i finally got to buying some replacement screws for the airbox. I was missing three. I put them in and go take my bike for a ride and around 6k RPMs my bike kinda gurgles down. Then at 7K it picks back up. Well i get home and cant think of what might have happened and decided to work backwords. I take those three screws out and take it for a ride and WHALA! Like new again.

And i thought my wife was picky. lol

Default huh...

Do you think that the air coming in from the airbox seam is correcting your ai/fuel ratio so when it was sealed it became rich?

+1 this is the right reason, you need doing a new mixture between air/fuel with the 3 screws.

With our bikes to adjust the mixture you end up taking the airbox off the bike so it should have no effect. Owell. Ill be jetting it very soon so ill be able to put the screws and filter back in and get it running right hopefully.
