Default how agressive is this setup?

I am new to the biking world and am looking at getting my first bike now that the minnesota weather is driving prices down. I found an f2 that seems heavily modified an wonder if anyone can tell me how aggressive the setup is and if it is going to take the reliablility down a whole lot. Also i am for the most part an inexperienced driver, I don't need a bike with goobs of extra power(but i am not going any less than a 600cc also no fzr's or katana's). Any ballpark idea what kind of power this bike should be making? I think I can pick it up pretty cheap any idea what it should be worth? thanks guys

91 cbr 600 f2
has 92 motor in it
12k miles on chassis, less on motor but unknown amount
repainted red
fiberglass one-piece front end
the fairings aren't in the best of shape, couple cracks but not terrible
HRC race cam
HRC cdi box
Factory Pro Jet kit
F4i rear shock
Progressive front springs
Two Bros Full race exhaust
Just had the carbs cleaned and synced, new bowl seals, new needles, valve adjustment, new plugs, and aftermarket rectifier put on by Kyle at 2K Motorsports.
Accel aftermarket wires
Tinted windshield
Integrated rear brake light/turn signals (using trailer adapter)
Corbin seat, with small tear (not noticeable until you press down on it)
Tires still have a good amount of tread on them (1 more season at least)

That's pretty aggressive for an F2. Dont see anything that would really compromise reliability, but I'd bet heavy with all the mods its been a race bike at some point.

If you see any bolts anywhere that have a little hole drilled in the side of the head on them, it was definately a race bike. from what you already mentioned, I'm going to say it probably was a race bike. most people dont modify those for street only riding. the biggest change I can see that would make a difference in power is the cams and CDI setup on that F2. the cams that it has would probably make the motor produce most of its power up in the higher rpm range rather than down low.

What are you looking to spend? Im in Minneapolis and know plenty of peeps selling bikes lately and can usually find a good deal. PM what you want to spend, I'll PM you back some finds. Surely I can find you something better than that F2 unless it's dirt cheap.

I reread that again, and honestly I wouldnt pay money for it to make a street bike out of it. To me it's worth it to get a clean example (this is clearly not one of those) as close to stock as possible (again, clearly not).

Email this guy. This post is a bit dated, but I havent heard that he sold it yet. If you need more I can hook you up. I know of a 94 ZX-9R for $3000 in the cities. That is a HUGE jump for a beginner bike so I wouldnt recommend that one, but nobody listens to me anyway.
