Pretty sure this isn't the reason my bike won't start, but I'm not sure since it is connected to the harness that then goes to the coils... Anyway pictures obviously help the most here so I took a couple. Hope someone's able to help since it just takes a look at their bike!

 

Just a guess based on the area etc..........the fan.

What color are the wires?

 

Green and blue.. But I don't see how it could be light related unless maybe a relay?

 

It won't be a relay, it's only got 2 plugs.
Green and blue sound like what would normally be for the turn or marker light. Do you have a wiring diagram? Get one and look for a pair of wires that match those colors.
