Default help me figure out where this part goes

came from the left side, right around the air intake. its made from rubber. and for some reason i cant figure out where it goes or what it would do.

Let me try this... forgive my newbness to the tech terms..
behind your left fairing / under the air intake fairing is your blue wiring harness, near that are 3 relays, this piece covers them. Trying to find a pic.
Edit: After looking into this further it looks like the rubber piece doesn't cover the 3 relays. hopefully someone else can chime in soon to help you out...

no one knows? its crazy, im almost sure i know the square foot this thing came out of, but cant figure it out!

you were actually right. it covered the 3 relays. thanks a lot for your help
