Europian "F Sport" issue - I need another ECU, but can't figure the part no...
Hi all,
Can someone tell me what are the models of ECU that can fit CBR 600 F4i (and dual seat CBR 600 F Sport)?
Or where could I find such info?? - even dealers can't help me...
I have a ECU with part no: 38770-MBW-D31 on my bike that delivers only 35hp, and I would like to change it with a full power one.
Now - I saw there was
38770-MBW-D21
38770-MBW-D41
38770-MBW-D71,
and they should all have 110 hp, but I am wondering if they will run on my bike?
(US ECUs are 38770-MBW-A11, and 38770-MBW-L12 - but they don't have a HISS coded key... And I read somewhere that ithe EU bike won't start with US ECU. Or will it?
The background of the problem...:
I am having a problem - my bike is electrically power restricted -
take a look at:

and, of course, I would like to solve my problem.
One of the solutions would be to buy another ECU, that will deliver full power.
I am having a major problem finding that sort of information!
In the USA it is easy - you go to one of:
http://www.motosport.com/street/oem....&groupId=52361
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....?Type=12&A=323
http://www.babbittsonline.com/pages/...d/7/Honda.aspx
and you can find for different years and models the part numbers according to micro fiche...
But I was unable to find such info for the EU bikes
I even wrote to some dealers, and they said that they don't have that kind of info, they can just give me the part according to my frame number
Thanks in advance,
cheers
