Default hard to start cold

The bike (92 f2) does not like to start cold. It seems like it takes 10-20 cycles of going 5-10 seconds on the starter to even get the bike to start combustion. Once it sounds like it wants to start, it takes 5-10 more times to get it to idle. All this can't be good for the starter and battery, any insight on why this bike is pissed off?

Other than that, the hot start is instant, and pulls from idle to 13,000 rpm without a hiccup

No, I need to loosen up the left handlebar switch because it is on there so tight, the choke is stuck off. Will report back.

That's your problem... cold start requires choke, that's what it is there for.

With the choke on, it starts with 1 click of the starter when cold. I am shocked that a carbed bike from 92 can start/run this well all the time. I say thank you to the previous owner whoever you are
