I pulled the calipers off earlier and everything seemed to be in order (aside from some old spiderwebs under those little clips) the pistons looked fine from the outside and had smooth operation when pressing them in. I didn't do any internal disassembly though.

I feel I've been sort of 'deceptive' or misleading with my interpretation of the braking action, although that was not my intent. So here's what drunk me feels is more descriptive.
The motion of the handle is not exactly smooth, but from the obnoxious noise it makes, I can guess the master cylinder might need rework, even if I did replace the fluid. I can make it actuate smoothly, but only if I go VERY slow. It had the kinda jumpy motion and feels up top as opposed to further down the lines. and then I don't even get a 1/4 of the travel of the handle before it feels like if I go any more the front tire will lock up. It's a very short span going from nothing to max braking power. If you need more input please ask away. I don't really know what to post up. I just had to kick some drunk guy off my truck so he wouldn't puke on it I F**king hate living in an apartment.

Have you lubed the pivot for the lever and the face that pushes on the piston of the master cylinder? You were also going to check the pads. Are they worn out?

Ya I checked the pads and they look fine. I haven't lubed the lever so I guess I'll give that a try today if I have time. Also ordered some cheapo shorty levers from china, hope they turn out alright.
