i'm thinkin about getting a stand even though i feel i don't NEED one as of yet... i'm lookin at the trex just from a quailty and cost point of view. i dont really wanna dish out the cash for a set, so with that said which (front or rear) should be 1st priority? or should i wait til i have the cash for the set? just curious...

The rear is the most important, IMO.

You need one for track riding since you usually have to remove the side stand.

Also, the bike doesn't have a center stand, which is another reason you need one. You'll need to lift the rear whenever you work on your chain, sprockets, rear wheel, transmission/clutch, etc... Also, bikes look cool when they're on rear stands.

You don't need a front stand per say if you have a bike jack, although with the jack you have to remove the fairings to lift the bike. But get one if you have the cash. A triple-tee lift one seems ideal because you can remove the forks that way.

Yes, I am still in hawaii, are you coming for a visit, or moving?

I have to agree with the rear being most important. its invaluable when cleaning and doing rear end work...

You cant use the front stand without a rear, i dont even see a time when you would really need a front and NOT a rear. Best to the rear, then the front when you can afford it

These bikes don't have acenter stand?!? I was wondering what happened to mine!!LOL. I've been looking for it eversince Igot it in Nov - I thought it was strange I couldn't find a replacement part on the internet orvisual reference to it in the manual.

So it's a cockfight between a Pitbull and a T-Rex. Hmm...

I have Pit Bull front and rear stands. Bought the pin for the STs too. The front stand works on four out of the seven. Of course our MC lift table makes working on all of these things much much easier.

Kim,
just out of curosity, what kind of lift do you have. I have been looking for one, but the shipping to Hawaii is stupid. thinking I will have one sent to my Dad's place and just have him set it up in my shop there. just curious, Thanks.
