Default Bike Stands: What to buy?

Im lookin for a good set of bike stands, both front and rear. I have no idea whats out there as Ive never bought stands before. Basically lookin for something really sturdy that is no problem for one person to use. Ive seen in previous posts people bashin certain companies and their stands but i forget which ones those are. So what kind of stands are you guys using and how good are they??

+1 with Woody. I used them at work alot. After you get used to them it's hard to use the lesser quality stands.

Yeah, pitbull are nice, but I bought a set of stands for 100. They suck and now I wished I spent the money for the pitpull's.

I know which stands NOT to buy !! Have had no luck w/the people from checkered flag. Ordered and was charged for spools that never showed, front stand doesn't fit at all. No return calls/emails, tooks 2 months to show after order. Sucks cuz the build quality looks pretty good, but doesn't matter much if i can't use em anyway !! Bought em cuz they were $99 for the pair... wouldn't do it again.

I love my pitbull, spend the cash and get a good stand. I went to my local cyclegear and picked one up for $90!

Anyone who says PitBull is better than a Cycle Cat has never used a Cycle Cat. The Cycle Cat UCS1 was designed to be used by one person safely with no risk of droping the bike. The UCS2 was designed to be the easiest front stand on the market to use requiring th eleast amount of effort and strength. I have seen men struggle with the other products and use the Cycle Cat product with ease. Besides, Cycle Cat and OnCycles sponsor the board and I obviously work for both.
