Default Fox Shock Adjustment *****?

Would someone describe how the adjustments work along with preload. length, and ride height etc. What does what? Pictures would be nice along with the description. Thanks

PM me your email address, I've got the Fox TC manual in .pdf format.

quick and dirty, - blue **** is rebound adjustment, red is compression dampening.

Spring preload, static sag, obviously needs to be done before you start tinkering with dampening adjustments.

Ride height is done by loosening the jam nut on the treaded eyelet end of the shock, and turning the threaded end with the rear of the bike in the air and the suspension unloaded (not supported by a swingarm stand). This affects your steering geometry, so small adjustments would be best.

Thank you junky. I found the owner manual in the "Fox Twin Clicker Installed" thread.

Hello Frank, by any chance, do you have a second Fox shock? I've been lurking around and I think I read a post that you had an extra one.

Yes Sabotage, I do have an extra Fox shock, but I really dont want to sell it. I like to think that I'll have an extra F2 or F3 one day to put it on. Sorry. But if something comes up and I do decide to sell you will get first dibs.

I got one and I have to say it is worth the money. The stock OEM shock is CRAP compared to the TC Fox Shock. Plus, the GSXR fork conversion also helped out too for a better responsive bike. My forks are a little short and the TC shock stands about 1 1/2"s taller, feels great diving into corners and very responsive getting out quickly.
