Talking to my buddy last nigh I learned something by mistake.

He a a Kawasaki ZX6E and is going to be doing a for upgrade. He told me they upgrade using ZX9R forks (very nice) with the massive front brakes (also very nice), but they use the CBR600F2 tripple tree and handle bars to do so.

Apparently they use the same bores and bearing size as the ZX6E.

So I am wondering if anyone here has given it a try? If so can our front wheel work with their forks? And what was done for the fender? The brake line would be the easy part.

 

well here is the thing if you use the f2 wheel on the zx9r forks there went your bigger brake setup. why dont you try something like a f4i or other honda like a rc51 that uses the same style wheel like an f3 i think thats pretty much a bolt on.

 

If you take a peek a bit down the page at koko's post, something like "my f2 and its evolution", i think he mentioned that he uses kawi forks/brakes and front wheel on his race bike. He might be able to get you more details.
