Default 94 F2 Fork Upgrade?

Would Race Tech springs and fork oil only be a worthwhile upgrade? And how do I know which spring weight to get? Its a track only bike. I really dont want to send my forks out to a shop. I like to do stuff myself. Just wondering if I only do those 2 things, would it be worth it. I did some searching and it seems 15w oil would be good, hell, I dont know.Maybe some experts can chime in. I read in a old Sport Rider, the only thing the magazine guy did to a F3 when they first came out was cut 2.6 coils off the spring, add a spacer and heavier fork oil. And that was recommeded by a Willow Springs Expert, (Andy Milton).

I have the Stage 3(190-230 lbs.) Racetech springs in my old forks. They are great and non-progressive. Worth the money. They will be nice and stiff for the track for sure. I have been trying to sell mine for a while. Did a fork swap(gsxr) and don't need them. Anybody want straight forks and Racetech springs in them, $100?

I was actually looking around the Race Tech website today and they have a feature where you select your bike, put in your weight and it tells you what the stock springs are and reccomends ones that would be right for you, front and rear.

I was wondering the same thing as you, how good an upgrade would just new springs and oil be? I'm interested to see what responses appear.

Are they 94 forks or 91 thru 93? Or F3 forks?

'93 forks with the Racetech springs. Springs are the same for all years.
