I run 160's at the track and do just fine. I had a friend with a gsxr 1000 who couldnt take me in the turns.

Whatever you do don't squeeze bigger tires on smaller rims. You mess up the profile of the tire and get horrible handling. If you are horny for big tires get a bigger rim, and expect slower handling.
umm 1k's come with 190's on em

Peoples weight and riding style do go a long way while on a track. So a 600 and a 1K could even out. You do lose Hp with wheel momentum, but can't sacrifice the contact patch/ surface area. I would choose larger grip/contact patch if I can power threw a corner without any worry. So through logic, I am not dumb.

Check the posts disservered, CBR900rr 5.5 inch 180 rim will fit on the F2/F3 swingarm.

My point is that the F2 does not have the power to lose the rear wheel so what is the point of increasing your contact patch. Again too, the biggest concern is putting larger tires on smaller rims, screwing up the profile of the tire, in turn giving you a worse contact patch and horrible cornering.

As far as street riding, 160 will obviously work.
I give up

a 180 may fit but the profile will be all messed up unless a 5" wheel is used.

You gotta realize too that some of us here are responsible riders and also care about those of you who don't have a clue. Putting a tire on a rim it is not intended for actually reduces your contact patch, and changes how the bike leans into turns, making the change more dangerous.
