The cheap 2nd hand exhaust I got from a breakers was rotten inside so I chopped the can off and was left with whats above. I stuck it on the bike and gave it quick fire up. My camera doesnt capture the sound very well but it sounds very throaty.
Performance wise I lost alot of low end but seemed to gain some power at the high end. The noise when youre going around with this exhaust is just too much IMO. Even with earplugs my ears were ringing. Out in the country I it was like listening to a hoover and in the city I found myself trying to keep the rev's as low as possible to keep noise down. My mate reported hearing me for 2 minutes after I had left him in traffic.
The main thing I like about this setup was how It affected cagers. When I hit traffic, it was like when moses parted the sea. No more having to flash at d*ckheads who wouldnt move over. Just a gentle twist and they moved.
Also like to mention if you use alot of engine breaking after gunning it for a while. Expect a fair amount of fire to emit from it.
Stock can's now back on and I can honestly say I prefer it that way!
