Another exhaust question.

RE: Another exhaust question.
you just want to replace the can? if you get the same model and brand there will be no problem. however, depending on if the mid pipe is different than that of other pipes will be whether or not it will fit. i think they are specific to the exhaust though. especially since its a full system, probably changed the location of the header connection to the midpipe, thus changes the midpipe location and so forth. i think it would be best to try and get the same model unless you are getting another full system. i dont think they will line up otherwise.

RE: Another exhaust question.
Sure...hindle sells just the can....in fact thats how they sell the system...you buy a header and a can.....I am sure it simplifies on part numbersfor them...rather than combinations of aluminum carbon, titanium canisters with the various exhaust systems.
You may be able to just get a new sleeve too. You can sand and polish outpits or scuff marks...even scratches hide decent with minimal work.
The 2" inlet issomewhat standard....but many of the brands use something just a little different to insure you buy their stuff for repalcement.
If you buy a can with a fixed mounting bracket, its chances of lining up are slim.
M4 uses a 2" inlet, and usually has a band clamp.
good luck
