Default Exhaust question?

I wanted to know what exhaust upgrade would be best for me, because the one i have on currently doesnt look that good, and is actually quite shorter in length than many that ive seen? It is a Hindle titanium exhaust. heck, what does having a shorter exhaust do compared to the longer ones? I dont know if the one i have is suficiant or should i look into other kinds.....

My intake valve servo motor is bad and needs to be replaced. they said it could cost $800+ to fix it. Or if i replace the entire exhaust system, it would fix it as well. The mechanic said something like the valve isnt opening up in the exhaust properly because the servo mototr controls it, and thats why my top end is lagging, because its not opening up all the way. and if i replace the servo, or get an entire exhaust system it will fix it.. so i figured getting an exhaust system would be the wisest choice

And the shop said they cant find an enitre exhaust from manifold to muffler. So im hunting on my own, but i want to make a good decision, and spend the right money. But almost everything im finding is just the muffler "container". not everything else..

You can buy a servo motor on ebay for about $50.00.If you replace the exhaust without fixing the servo motor, you will still have the light flashing on your dash.
