Default Cowl install

Has anyone installed a seat cowl on their F2 before? I bought one off one of our forum members (thanks again) and now i'm trying to figure out how to install it. There are tabs below it so it doesn't just sit on there, but i don't know if they come off or what. If i can't figure it out i'll just take it to a local shop and have them do it, but i have faith in the community Thanks

I'm not 100% sure but I think the tabs mount to the underside of you seat.

don't break or remove tabs...I have a a maier seat cowl...it slides on from the rear and the tabs go over the bolt on the underside...remove nuts...side it on and reattach nuts...

That's a good suggestion, unless the seat cowl came with the F2 that the member bought used and it was never installed (which is the case here.)

Sorry i've been visiting with family in from Pa., but thanks all for the advice. There's a sticker under it that says "We recommend fitting and drilling all the abs body parts before painting" I'm not sure what abs are though.
