Default Is upper cowl b-ch to install?

Spent a few hours trying to fit this damn uppper cowl and can't put it in place. Top part looks alright - it's attached to speedo panel and to mirrors. But sidesare like half an inch lover from those hooks onair duct covers. If I apply some force and liftthe sides to connect them tohooks, the whole thing falls apart the moment I leave it. Air intakes look in place, I can't understand what is the problem. I haven't tried to put side plastic, but I don't thinkthey will be able to keepuppper cowlin place...

Any tips maybe?..

All I can say is it fits perfect if you get it right. I've had mine (05 600RR) off several times. The first few times I had trouble and would fight it every step of the way. Take it off and try it again and I'd get something to line up that I missed last time.

Don't know if that helps, but that's all I have.

what he said if you dont line it up right, good luck you will go back and forth trying to get those damn ducts to sit in place. just start from the top and line the mirrors up first it helps.

yeah your just gonna have to play around with it. its a lot easier if you have two people too- one on each side making sure everything lines up on each side... +1 on the air ducts, make sure they are in or it will mess up everything.
