Could anyone help me with welding?

RE: Could anyone help me with welding?
No problem, happy to help.
The single most important part about welding is the comfort and stability of the operator.
Stabilize yourself either by sitting down or leaning against something, and use your left hand (if you're right handed) to steady the tip of the gun, rest your left hand on the piece you're welding(where it's not hot, and you should be wearing leather gloves) and guide the tip with your left hand.
The trick to welding pipe is doing one side at a time, and go from the bottom and work your wayup to the top while being conscious about your distance/angle to the piece. Then switch sides and do the same thing.
The advantage of starting at the bottom is that the heat rises and preheats the metal above the weld pool as you go along.
I think you're confused about the amperage, the amperage IS the wire speed.
Amperage = Current = Rate of deposition = Wire speed
Voltage = Dig, heat, penetration
So when you say you turned up the Amperage and then turned up the wire speed seperately I think something is labelled wrong or perhaps you read it wrong?
Turning up the amperage is how you adjust the wire speed.
