Coming out of hibernation
My '93 F2 hasn't been used daily since November but I want to start using her for work again in a couple of weeks when the frost (hopefully) clears. The bike has been in the garage uncovered on the centre stand and moved regularly to prevent the tyres from forming.
During this time I've been out about 6 times when the weather has been ok so she's notjust sitting there freezing inmy garage. Each time needing a bumpstart but once warmed up she runs and rides as well as ever.
MOT is due March and I know a new rear tyre is imiment but apart from the obvious (Lights, horn, tyre pressures) what should I check for before the bike goes in? I'm expecting brakes as all the disks look worn and new pads will also be on the list. Someone mentioned brake hoses but they look ok to me.
An oil/filterservice will also be done but it there anything else I should watch out for generally having not used her regularly for a few months.
